In January 1996, Rosyth became a double-session school due to increased demand for places.  It also offered Primary 4 pupils, who narrowly missed qualifying GEP, an opportunity to enrol in the school.

 

In April 1997, Rosyth was selected as a demo school under the Masterplan for Informtaion Technology (IT) in Education to spearhead the use of information technology in the classroom.

 

In May 1997, Mr Foo left Rosyth and Mr Fong Whay Chong took over.

 

In 1998, the Rosyth School Alumni Association was officially registered and launched.

 

In April 1998, the House System was revised with five new Houses, each named after the roads surrounding the school – Glasglow, Jansen, Kovan, Philips and Richards.  The blocks in the school were subsequently renamed after the five Houses.

 

The Magic ARC @ Rosyth officially opened.  It was a collaboration between Rosyth, Apple Computers and Knowledge Village.

 

In Mid 1999, Rosyth was designed as a mega-school and construction of the new and bigger school building began. 

 

On 23 February 2000, Rosyth Interactive Cyber-learning Enterprise (RiCE) was officially launched

 

On 27 May 2000, a carnival was held in the school field to raise funds for the new school building

 

On 17 Novembe 2000, a symbolic walkover took place - Rosyth’s second big move.

 

In December 2000, Mr Fong handed the baton to Miss Elizabeth Chan.

 

In 2000, Parent Teacher Association was registered.

 

In 2001, Rosyth School was relocated to a brand new site at Serangoon North Avenue 4. It featured 2 six-storey blocks of classrooms, a canteen in the sky at level 4. There was also an indoor basketball court and a multi-purpose hall.

 

In 2004, the SPRING Singapore Board certified us having People Developer Standards. 

 

In 2005, we achieved the following:

SAA Aesthetics (1st award)

SAA Physical Health (1st award)

Outstanding Development Award (NE)

PSE Award (Aesthetics)

Think Culture Award (Best Zonal School)
