Memories of Rosyth

​Memories of our teachers - Mrs Esther Koh, Ms Wong Lai Yee, Mrs Helen Tan, Mr William Grosse, Mrs Elaine Low, Mdm Tiew - are indelible. Many of them had a wicked sense of humour and thought up creative ways to punish infractions. There was a "Table of Enlightenment" (a large table at the back of the class) under which misbehaving students sat. A talkative boy was told to hold his tongue, literally, much to everyone's amusement. The way they balanced levity with humour was a rare gift to students for it showed us that teachers are human too.
